NZ greenstone silver pendant with stunning silver flower
Made from the finest quality sterling silver with polished genuine NZ greenstone, known in NZ as Pounamu.
The stone is stunningly beautiful with a warm semi translucent glow. it is cut in a beautiful oval shape that measures 20 x 16mm and looks beautiful on a simple snake chain. There is detailed silver at the base of the stone and the bale, where the chain threads through has a gorgeous silver flower.
Pounamu has many shades of green and when held to the light you can see the inclusions that the presence of other minerals give it.
Greenstone likes to be worn against the skin as the natural oils from your skin will keep your stone in the best condition but if you are not going to wear your pendant for some time, it is best kept stored in a small pouch with a touch of natural oil added.
