These earrings are new to our collection and absolutely fabulous. They are made from sterling silver, in a hook style with a large hoop of silver and a teardrop shape cats eye shell suspended from the hoop.
The cats eye shell measures 10 x 8mm and the earrings measure 4cms in total length, the hoop is just under 3cms in diameter. They are lovely and lightweight and super comfy to wear all day long. The cats eye pattern is formed naturally in certain sea snails with the distinctive swirling pattern is what gives this shell its name.
Cats eye shells have been used for making jewellery for many centuries. They are sometimes called Shiva eye shell and apart from being lovely to look at they are also known to be a protective talisman.
